Through the reading of blogs like the previous Jim Eliff post, and primarily through the reading of scripture, we can rest in knowing that God, whom is sovereign over all creation, calls on all His elect to repent and trust in Him.
This morning as I was reading through Luke 8, I saw in the text the man whom Jesus healed of demon possession, sitting at His feet worshipping as all the herdsman went throughout the city and countryside to tell all what they had seen. This is a truly remarkable snapshot of Gods power and his ordination of men to go proclaim all they have seen and heard in the Savior Jesus Christ.
Be filled with the joy of your salvation. Repent of your private and public sins and put your trust in the God of grace who saved you in spite of your wickedness in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
Now go, you whom God has healed, throughout the countryside and into all the cities and tell the world what the Lord has done in you!
Rejoice
